The deluxe apartment was built in 2020 to high standards. A large sitting room with a cozy sofa, armchair, and a fully equipped kitchen. A fireplace separates the two areas. There are large windows with wonderful views over the peak Hestbrepiggen. While the queen bed is perfect for a grown-up couple, the loft with its two mattresses will suits kids. There is also an extra mattress for a small child if you are a family of 5. The mattresses and beddings are of lovely quality ensuring a good night’s sleep after an eventful day filled with outdoor activities.
Fjelleventyret is situated in the beautiful village Skjåk, where we can offer a wide variety of activities such as hiking, hunting, river rafting, canyoning, and unforgettable horseback riding trips. Our farm is at the foot of Breheimen national park, at the entrance of the idyllic Lundadalen. There is lots to see and do! You can spend many days here to explore the spectacular Geirangerfjorden by boat, visit beautiful mountain farms, Loen with its turquoise water, Jostedalen, Galdhøgpiggen, as well as our own little village Skjåk. Fjelleventyer is just a short drive from the popular village Lom and the nearby mountains of Sognefjellet, Jotunheimen, as well as the summer ski area Juvass.
We warmly welcome you to Skjåk. We offer a nice bed, great meals, and peaceful rest.
Our breakfast is quite different from a typical hotel breakfast, and this may be because we’re not particularly fond of buffets.
We serve a small, cozy mountain breakfast with local cheeses, omelette, bacon, homemade jam, and homemade salami from the storeroom.
Of course, you can also pack a lunch for a beautiful hike in the National Park and fill up your thermos for a small additional charge.
Lunch and dinner
Fjelleventyret is open to visitors for lunch and dinner in our restaurant Spiseriet every day between weeks 23-35.
The restaurant is open from 13:00 – 21:30.
We are fully licenced to serve beer, wine and spirits.
We offer free parking and also electric car charging for an additional fee.
No refunds will be given to room cancellations received the last 3 weeks before arrival.
